Transport Minister Galal Moustafa al-Saeed on 10/3/2012 said the proposed bridge linking between Egypt and Saudi Arabia will double the trade exchange volume to hit $31 billion in two years. The Minister pointed out the bridge will activate Arab tourism and facilitate goods transport, adding that South Sinai will witness an economic promotion especially in pilgrimage and Umera seasons.
