Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri said his government, since day one, has been working on solving the citizens' problems. Since coming to office, the government held 15 Cabinet meetings, three Council of Governors meetings and 120 ministerial committee meetings, Ganzouri told a press conference on 19/04/2012. The government has also been holding meetings with members of parliament representing the different governorates to be familiarized with urgent public needs and find solutions to pressing problems, he said. As many as 120 decisions were issued by the government since taking up this responsibility, he said.
Ganzouri said that the foreign currency reserves with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will increase once again as of next month due to spending rationalization measures, encouraging taxpayers to pay their tax arrears and cooperation with development partners as well as the friendly countries, he said.
