Reviewing & Evaluating Toushki Project

Prime Minister, Dr. Kamal Al-Ganzoury, reviewed and evaluated the current situation of Toushki, in attendance of Ministers of Electricity, International Cooperation, Supply, Tourism, Petroleum, Industry, Irrigation, Finance, and Agriculture, Japanese experts, as well as Head of the Industrial Development Authority.

Dr. Al-Ganzoury reviewed Toushki project and investments paid to date, and the station established since 90th with Japanese technique at highest level where EGP 8 billion paid on such project. The meeting also tackled evaluation of other projects at middle and north Suez Canal and the Valley area as well as expanding River Valley and means of getting out from the narrow valley.

The Minister of Agriculture confirmed that million acres will be planted in Toushki to create industrial agricultural community based on the agricultural industries, and create many integrated cities, and 450,000 acres were planted for series companies and investors, while 75,000 acres were withdraw from others and part of them given to fresh graduates.
