The President of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Waheed received Mahmoud Mohamed Al Mahmoud, UAE Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Non-Resident Ambassador to the Maldives, to bid him farewell at the end of his tenure. The Maldivian President expressed his thanks and appreciation for the assistances provided by the UAE, which helped in boosting bilateral relations between the two countries. For his part, Al Mahmoud expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to the government and people of the Republic of Maldives for the cooperation he received during his tenure helping in enhancing relations between the two countries.
