Extensive discussions held between Egypt and Libya under the chairmanship of the prime ministers of two countries Dr Hisham Kandel and Mr. abed Elreheem Alrekeb, attended from the Egyptian side by ministers of foreign affairs, finance, scientific research, environment, justice, investment, education, agriculture, communications, higher education, labor force and immigration, international cooperation, industry and foreign trade.
From the Libyan side attended by ministers of labor, economy, education, justice, higher education, agriculture and finance. The talks dealt with methods of strengthening mutual cooperation between the two countries in different fields especially trade, industry, agriculture, education, scientific research, communication and technology, also ways of increasing the participation of the Egyptian construction companies in reconstruction, infrastructure and roads projects, and this is due to the wealth of experience of these companies. In addition to increasing mutual trade and investments and this is due to the importance of the two peoples of Egypt and Libya taking into account their mutual historical, political, economic and geographic relations .
