Dr Hisham Kandel received Dr Mohamed Omran president of Egyptian stock market, they discussed the current situation of the Egyptian stock market, sending tranquility messages to foreign and Arab countries especially that stock market in Egypt become more stable and started to grow. President of the Egyptian stock market assured the need to attract more investments, free market, and to support the Egyptian economy in order to return back to the level of indicators before 25th of January revolution, especially that the Egyptian economy is characterized by diversity, so that stock market in Egypt is capable of gaining strength, and this is achieved through attracting foreign direct investment through ministries of investment, international cooperation.
Also Dr Mohamed Omran assured that Egypt will host the African stock market conference in December 2012 under the auspices of Dr Hisham Kandel, the conference will discuss management of portfolio, new methods for managing stock, and benefiting from experiences of other countries. He said that prime minister asked him to delay his resignation and proceed in his duties as president of stock market.
