Prime Minister Hisham Qandil met on 17/9/2012 with 20 Egyptian, Arab and foreign investors on the security and economic situation in Egypt. Qandil told the business people that the government has no intention to impose new taxes, but plans instead measures to improve tax collecting. He assured that the national currency is stable versus the foreign exchange rate. The premier said that a fund is planned to be established for financing infrastructure projects.
