The UAE and Mexico, signed the Air Transport Service Agreement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi. H. H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister signed on behalf of the UAE, while Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa, signed on behalf of her country. The deal aims to regulate and develop the cooperation in the areas of air transport between the two countries through setting a legal framework to encourage the air fleets to provide their services.
Sheikh Abdullah and the Mexican FM discussed the bilateral relations and ways to bolster them. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region, as well as the issues of mutual interest. Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Deputy Director of the Department of American and Pacific Affairs, Mohammed Bushahab, Director of the Department of American and Pacific Affairs, Mohammed Al Khaja, Director of the Office of Foreign Minister, Maria Gonzales. Adviser to Mexican FM and Mexican Ambassador to UAE Francisco Alonso attended the meeting.
