Prime minister received Swiss foreign minister; the meeting was attended by Minister of State for Parliamentary Councils. The meeting tackled many issues like restoring smuggled money; Dr Kandel thanked Swiss government for their serious work in this file. They agreed on several steps concerning the measures taken to restore the money. Spokesman for cabinet of ministers said that the meeting also tackled ways of enhancing economic relations between both countries and the return of Swiss investments to Egypt. They agreed on organizing visit of a delegation of Swiss senior businessmen and companies to Egypt to identify investment opportunities. The volume of exchange between both countries in 2011 (912 million dollar). Swiss foreign minister asked for Egypt's support for his country's candidacy to host the headquarter of the Green Climate Fund.
