Bilateral relations between the UAE and Pakistan were discussed by the UAE's ambassador Eisa Abdullah Al-Basha Al-Nuaimi and the Governor of Punjab Sardar Muhammad Latif Khosa. Khosa hailed the UAE's role in driving development in the province and the humanitarian aid provided by the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation to victims of floods. The UAE's ambassador also met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif who explained the province's economic potentials and investment opportunities. He thanked the UAE for its interest in promoting economic relations with Pakistan, in energy and agricultural sectors in particular.
Al-Nuaimi hailed the standing strong relations between the two countries which are supported by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who walk in the steps of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan.
