Ambassador of the UAE to China Omar Ahmed Adi Al-Bitar hailed the standing strategic relations between the UAE and China as an inevitable outcome of healthy evolution of bilateral relations between the two countries. Al-Bitar said the UAE-Sino relations set and example for other nations to follow.
The ambassador made his remarks in an opening speech at a forum at the Beijing International Studies University on modern development in Gulf countries He also hailed the progress of Arab-Sino relations and urged for continuing efforts to promote them with Gulf countries, in particular, to contribute to promoting peace and security in the Middle East and the rest of the world. Al Bitar called for establishing Chinese universities in the UAE to serve as cultural bridges between the two countries.
