Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Bahaa El-Din said on 16/12/2012 the ministry's plan for developing Sinai includes digging 30 underground wells with EGP 210 million investment cost by 2017, establishing 15 dams and 25 reservoirs. The ministry has launched maintenance operations to al-Rawafeah Dam at EGP 53m cost, the minister added.
