The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has announced that the financial markets nationwide will close on Tuesday, 1 January 2013, to mark the new year. Transactions will resume on Wednesday, 2 January 2013. SCA took this opportunity to congratulate President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of Emirates, on the occasion.
