A UAE mission led by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Trade (MoFA) held talks with officials of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) on ways to promote cooperation on investments, SMEs, projects and the exchange of expertise. The talks which were held by head of the delegation and Director of MoFA's Trade Promotion Department, Mohammed Nasser Al-Za'abi, and Deputy Executive Director of HKTDC, Benjamin Chau, took place in Hong Kong on the sidelines of a visit to four exhibitions. The UAE delegation includes owners of small and medium size enterprises (SMEs). In remarks at the meeting, Al-Za'abi said the UAE supports national SMEs to boost its national economy. He emphasized the importance of tapping the expertise of Hong Kong in establishing SMEs.
