Finance Minister el-Morsi Hegazi said that the government is keen on resolving any problem facing foreign investors in the country as long as they are committed to the Egyptian law.
During a meeting with Mexican Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Carlos de Icaza and Mexican Ambassador to Egypt Maria Carmen, el-Morsi el-Sayyed Hegazi said "The government is well aware that the recent incidents of unrest - that gripped Egypt on the second anniversary of the January revolution - affect economic conditions, foreign investments and Egypt's trade relations with world countries." The government is doing its best to overcome the current transitional period to stabilize and reinforce its national economy, he added. Egypt is deeply interested in enhancing economic and political relations with various world countries, especially with its development partners, like Mexico, he said. |
