President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a letter from Field Marshal Omar Hassan Al Bashir, the President of Sudan, dealing with bilateral relations between the two countries and matters of mutual interest. The letter was delivered to H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs as he received Dr Mustafa Osman Ismail, Sudan's Minister of Investment and Advisor to the President, at the Presidential Palace.
The standing bilateral relations between the UAE and Sudan, ways to enhance and promote them in different spheres and matters of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs for Government Coordination Sector, Rashid Saeed Al Ameri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs for Support Services, Sultan Al Hamiri, and the Ambassador of Sudan to the UAE, Ahmed Al Siddiq Abdul Hai, attended the meeting.
