Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Bahraini Minister of Labour and Chairman of the current session of GCC Labour Ministers Council in Manama received UAE ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Sultan Al Suwaidi. During the meeting, they discussed horizons of joint cooperation between the two sisterly countries in the labour field. In the light of the existing cooperation between the two countries regarding regulation of the labour market, Al Suwaidi delivered an official invitation to the Bahraini minister from Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour to participate at an international conference, which will be held in the UAE from 14th-15th of May.
The conference will discuss "Labour mobility and its impact on sustainable development" in cooperation with international and regional institutions. For his part, Humaidan appreciated the invitation, lauding the UAE role in organising forums and specialised conferences, which benefit all GCC States and their Human resources development programmes. UAE ambassador referred to the strong historic relations between Bahrain and UAE in the light of the two countries' keenness to further enhance them in the framework of the continuous coordination among the states of the GCC to promote the GCC human resources.
