A recent report by the Cabinet Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) disclosed that the aggregate value of deposits with banks increased by 10.25 per cent at the end of December last year to reach some 1,091 billion pounds, while the aggregate local cash surged by 12.35 percent to hit 1,167 billion pounds. The IDSC monthly report noted that the net hard currency reserve at the end of March dropped by 11.3 per cent to reach $ 13.4 billion.
