Qatar's Ambassador to US HE Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi met at the embassy premises with Canada's former Governor General who is also the Special Envoy of UNESCO to Haiti Michaelle Jean, Haiti's Minister of Tourism Stephanie Villedrouin and Haiti's Minister of Finance and Wilson Laleau. The meetings dealt with projects of Qatar fund for the reconstruction of Haiti as well as investment projects, which the Haitian government plans to launch in the fields of infrastructure and tourism. Issues of common interest and ways of boosting bilateral relations between Qatar and Haiti were also discussed.
