Minister of Agriculture Ayman Abu Hadid said that 1.3 million feddans will be cultivated with rice next year to achieve self-sufficiency of rice.
This came during the minister's meeting with Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Motaleb. During the meeting, the two sides agreed on boosting joint ventures between the two ministries, including the national project for developing field irrigation. |
