During his meeting with the Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA), Minister of Industry and Trade Mounir Fakhri Abdul Nour noted that there are about 890 defaulting factories in Egypt due to financial reasons.
Abdul Nour refuted allegations that the Emirati aid to Egypt would not last, adding that he received a phone call for Premier Hazem El-Beblawi, who reassured him that the Emirati aid to Egypt would continue as Marshall Plan, the American initiative to aid Europe, in which the United States gave economic support to help rebuild European economies after the end of World War II. Abdul Nour added that the Arab countries' aids aim at stimulating the Egyptian economy especially in light of the extraordinary circumstances witnessed by Egypt. |
