Egypt’s ambassador in Rome, Amr Helmy said that the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has agreed to establish a trilateral cooperation with Egypt in Africa.
Ambassador Helmy pointed out that this cooperation allows organization of several training courses for African cadres in Egypt in areas related to food security, water management, increase of agricultural productivity and biotechnology. During his meeting with the FAO director general of technical cooperation on 07/12/2013, Ambassador Helmy noted that they have agreed on the general outlines of a memorandum of understanding on this agreement expected to be signed soon. |
