Planning Minister Ashraf al-Arabi considered with Italian Ambassador in Cairo Maurizio Massari facets of future cooperation.
They discussed the projects that would be carried out within the framework of Italian debts swap program signed in 2012 at a value of $100 million. The sum would be used in financing developmental projects of high priority such as food security, education, higher education, agriculture, civil society, environment and protecting culture heritage. On the other hand, Youth Minister Khaled Abdel-Aziz and Massari met on 18/2/2014 to discuss means of boosting bilateral cooperation. Abdel-Aziz said his ministry is seeking to help young Egyptians and offer them training and secure suitable jobs for them. He said he agreed with Massari on organizing a joint youth forum and upgrading youth centers in the north and south of Egypt. |
