Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said that the authority started the establishment of a new medical complex to serve the Canal region.
Speaking during the opening of the first cardiology conference organized by the Suez Canal Authority, Mamish said that the Suez Canal governorates and Sinai are suffering from deteriorating health services and the government's negligence to their health institutions over the past decades. Mamish further said that the Canal region would witness over the upcoming period the establishment of a mega project - the Suez Canal Corridor development project. The Suez Canal will achieve new record revenue by the end of the year, surpassing EGP 40 billion, Mamish noted. On the other hand, Mamish said that he had asked civil aviation ministry to plan for establishing an airport in Ismailia governorate for serving investors in the Suez Canal Axis Development Project. |
