Kuwait's participation in the 5th OIC World Biz and Muslim World BIZ Exhibition and Conference 2014 will provide a great opportunity to explore new investments and boost cooperation with OIC's member states, a Kuwaiti envoy said Tuesday.

Kuwait is participating in the event with 14 companies specialized in cement, plastics, aluminum and food industries as well as textiles manufacturing, he said. He added that the Kuwaiti market is a competitive one that allows the entry of many international products; hence, it is important for Kuwait to take part in this major trade event that would provide a chance to establish international cooperations in various trade ventures. The five-day event is held on November 10-14 in Kuala Lumpur. It is organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) International Business Centre, with the cooperation of the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), an organ of OIC. The theme of the this year event is "Towards Excellent Global Economies' and its main aim is to enhance intra-trade among Muslim countries while providing an ideal generation platform for governments, corporations, international investors, industry players and entrepreneurs from all parts of the world. |
