Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Colonel General Sedqi Sobhy said Egypt will remain steadfast in the face of all challenges thanks to strong determination of its sons in the Armed Forces and the civil police to uproot terrorism and to restore security and stability in Egypt.
The minister of defense said the Armed Forces are determined to strongly stand up to any attempt to tamper with the homeland's security and stability. The remarks came during a visit paid by the minister, high-ranking commanders, officers and non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces to their colleagues, who are being treated in Maadi medical complex from the injuries they suffered during their confrontation of terrorism and securing the State facilities. He said the sacrifices of the army and policemen will remain a source of pride to the Egyptian people, commending the high morals of the injured who expressed their readiness to offer more sacrifices. The minister said the injured are a model example of the Egyptian patriotism. |
