Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Hamid al-Awadhi and charge d'affaires of Russian embassy in Yemen Oleg Levin discussed the ongoing preparations for the Yemeni-Russian Joint Committee meeting.
The Yemeni-Russian Committee meetings are slated to be held in Moscow at the end of February. Al-Awadi and Levin stressed the importance of resolving the current standoff facing Yemen and moving the country to safety through dialogue and consensus among all political parties. They emphasized the unity of the international community towards the situation in Yemen and the importance of preserving its security, stability and unity. The meeting also touched on areas of the existing cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments in Yemen. |
