President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met on 24/6/2015 with Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Hossam Moghazy and Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Salah Helal.
Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said the meeting dealt with agricultural reclamation projects and cooperation between the two ministries to provide irrigation water for the projects and establish new communities in the reclaimed lands to accommodate more people from the crowded valley. The president called for giving attention to efforts exerted to improve the quality of drinking and irrigation waters, said the spokesman. He said the meeting also tackled Egypt's relations with African countries in the fields of animal wealth, fishing and getting rid of weeds in water canals. |
