Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Khalid Hanafi, said on 5/8/2015 that the New Suez Canal project and the development of the channel axis is undoubtedly the giant project of the 21st century.
Hanafi said it is a magical solution to the longstanding disease of the Egyptian economy. It also leads to turning Egypt to a logistics global hub, and achieves its global leadership in the maritime and logistics industry to become an industrial, commercial and tourist center of the world, he stressed. This will be through the creation of new project areas as a starting point for the Egyptian economy towards progress and prosperity. He said that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, by opening the New Suez Canal, proved to everyone that he was at his promise when he said that the project would be completed in one year. |
