More than 240 local and foreign companies from 26 countries are participating in the 7th round of the Metal & Steel Middle East Exhibition currently held in Cairo, Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) Ismail Gaber said.
In a statement issued by the authority, Gaber said the three-day exhibition kicked off here on Thursday. He added that the companies' participation in the exhibition asserts their confidence in the Egyptian market that is one of the hugest markets in the Middle East. Gaber pointed out that the exhibition will give local companies the opportunity to hold partnerships with foreign companies in order to exchange expertise and promote their products. IDA Chairman noted that the exhibition will help in attracting more foreign investments in Egypt, asserting that Egyptian exports will increase in the coming period. |
