Engineer Sherif Ismail met Dr. Mudesir Abdul Ghani, Sudanese Minister of Investment, on the sidelines of his participation in the African Forum of trade and investment in Africa, held in Sharm el-Sheikh.
During the meeting, the prime minister stressed on the depth of the Egyptian-Sudanese relations, indicating that Egyptian and Sudanese peoples share many of the bonds of brotherhood and unity of self-determination and common interests. Ambassador Hussam Alkawesh the official spokesman for the presidency of the Council of Ministers stated that the meeting was held in the course of the review of ways to develop relations of cooperation between the two countries especially in the areas of agriculture and agricultural industrialization, , especially in the area of the cultivation of strategic goods such as wheat. On his part, the Sudanese minister said that there arw Sudanese opportunities available in the area of agriculture, which Egyptian companies could cooperate and contribute, and also asked the Egyptian side to determine and quality the crop, which wished cultivation to determine the appropriate region there. The spokesman said that it was agreed during the meeting to intensify the exchange of visits by the official delegations in the area of trade and to discuss opportunities for different cooperation in all sectors. |
