![]() Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati met Uganda's Water and Environment Minister Ephraim Kamuntu on bilateral relations in their fields.
In statements, Abdel Aati said Egypt has responded to a request from the African state to help it face the effects of floods in Kasese in western Uganda. "Cairo has started preparations to offer support and technical assistance to avert the repercussions of the floods," said the minister. A technical missions has been already sent to prepare for an urgent action to ward off the flood effects, he added. Arab Contractors will implement the plan at a cost of $2.7 million, noted the minister. |
