 Residents of Abu Ramad, Halayeb and Shalateen will be able to benefit from the Takaful and Karama (Solidarity and Dignity) programs, Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali said.
Working teams from the ministry visited the three cities last week to brief residents on how to register in the program, Wali added. The residents expressed their appreciation of the government's efforts to support poor families. Takaful targets poor families with children younger than 18 to send them to schools, while Karama targets the elderly and the disabled, so long as they can't earn their living. |
