 International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr held a meeting with a World Bank delegation.
Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil, Qena Governor Abdel Hamid el Hagan and Sohag Governor Aymen Abdel Moneim also attended the meeting. The meeting aimed to discuss preparations for “local development of Upper Egypt governorates,” planned to be funded with 500 million dollars from the World Bank. The program aims to enhance local economic development via attracting investment, supporting industry and fostering basic services in Qena and Sohag governorates. The World Bank delegation is expected to visit the two governorates to resume talks with the authorized officials. |
