President Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed with General Electric (GE) Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Immelt means to boost cooperation in the sectors of traditional and renewable energy, transport, railways, health care and aviation.
President Sisi lauded the activity of GE and the volume of its operations in Egypt, presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said in statements. "Egypt welcomes boosting cooperation with GE in various fields," the president said. For his part, the GE chairman said Egypt has many promising economic opportunities and the will required to achieve success. He praised the pace of achievement Egypt is going through in various economic projects that will be launched and implemented during the coming period. He also stressed commitment to contributing to the development process in Egypt and supporting the government's goals to boost economic growth and provide more job opportunities. |
