PM Sherif Ismail confirmed the government’s keenness and intention to present the basic goods with reasonable prices, through the constant follow-up of markets, especially that the month of holy Ramadan is close. This was mentioned during his meeting today morning. Major General Abu Bakr Al-Gendi, head of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics attended the meeting.
During the meeting, a review for a number of reports on the follow-up to the prices of the main food products in the markets on a daily basis, he also demanded that these reports are submitted on daily, weekly and monthly basis with the commodity prices within the major markets in Cairo and Alexandria, as well as the preparation of those reports in coordination with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade.
