 Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati received Belarusian Ambassador in Cairo Sergei Rachkov where they discussed joint cooperation in the field of water resources management.
The Belarusian ambassador pointed out to the interest of his government to cooperate with the Egyptian Irrigation Ministry in research and applied fields concerning water resources management. For his part, Abdel Ati affirmed Egypt's interest in cooperating with the Belarusian government in the water resources management field including combating pollution in waterways , the reuse of sewage, the use of appropriate and low cost techniques in water desalination for drinking and agriculture purposes as well as the sustainable use of groundwater. |
