 President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
The premier briefed the president on the results of Monday's meeting of the ministerial economic committee that discussed the measures needed to encourage investment, create an attractive atmosphere for more direct and indirect investments, and overcome obstacles that may face investors. The meeting also dealt with steps taken to finalize bills needed to promote small and medium enterprises, along with amendments planned to be developed on the listing rules of the Egyptian bourse. Presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said Ismail also briefed Sisi on results of his recent visits to some ministries to follow up efforts exerted to comply with the time schedule for the various service and development projects included in the government's program, which aims to improve the level of services provided to citizens in various sectors. Sisi underlined the importance of continuing the government's efforts to provide an attractive atmosphere of direct and indirect investments, stressing the need to take legal and administrative measures to facilitate procedures for investors, the spokesman added. |
