Head of cooperation program at EU delegation in Egypt Diego Escalona Paturel has praised the EU cooperation program in the Mediterranean region.
Addressing the inaugural session of the conference of cross-border cooperation in the Mediterranean, he said the EU-funded program highlights the regional policies of Euro-Mediterranean and eastern partnerships for cooperation between the two sides. He highlighted Egypt's role in the cooperation program across the Mediterranean region. The program aims at promoting European neighborhood mechanism for achieving economic and social prosperity for peoples across the Mediterranean region. |
