 International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr is leading Egypt's delegation to the second high-level meeting (HLM2) of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC), currently held in Nairobi, Kenya.
Representatives of 100 countries and organizations concerned with international development are also taking part in the event. Nasr expounded development efforts in Egypt to help limited income brackets through creating jobs and providing funds for small, medium and micro-sized projects. She also posted the participants on efforts to upgrade the infrastructure in industrial zones. The aim is to increase economic growth rates while maintaining a fair distribution of income so that all segments of society benefit from development programs, Nasr told the conference. All projects should help achieve sustainable development goals through the optimal use of funds offered by international organizations, the minister added. |
