The Finance Ministry auctioned treasury bills at a total value of 11 billion pounds.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold 5.75 billion pounds worth of 91-day T-bills with an average yield of 17.05%. The highest yield was 17.2 percent, while the lowest was 16.7 percent, it noted. As for the 266-day T-bills, they were sold for 5.25 billion pounds, with an average yield of 16.993 percent, the Ministry said. The highest yield was 17.15 percent, while the lowest was 16.69 percent, it noted. |
