Boursa Kuwait witnessed diverse developments such as setting new pricing for a large number of stocks and profit generation and speculations thus causing main indices to be unsteady.
Benchmark, in the week's final session, crossed the 6,800-point barrier, simultaneously with hike of volume and number of transactions, due to hefty purchasing by financial portfolios and investment funds as well as individual traders. Liquidity grew amid recurring trades targeting 50-100 fils' chips and operational blue chips, particularly those under umbrella of the third main index, Kuwait-15 index. Performance in the last five sessions was mainly affected by corporate disclosures, which were also behind confidence restoration. session witnessed rapid profit generation, pressure on stocks namely those below 50 fils. Meanwhile, the traders followed up on further companies' financial statements. The benchmark ended on mixed board as the price index gained 9.68 points reaching 6,824.49 points. \ Weighted index lost 0.19 points reaching 428. 76 and the KSX 15 gained 0.22 points reaching 974.89.
