 Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said that the government is outlining a plan to develop the subsidy system and update information of ration cards and the data of cardholders.
In press statements, the premier said the importance of this issue emerges from the necessity to implementing social justice. There are people who do not deserve subsidy, but they still benefit from it, he said, adding that the government seeks to give subsidy to those who really need it. This is goal of the current process of overhauling the supply card system, he said. The premier was speaking following a Cabinet meeting. |
