Cairo hosted a tripartite meeting grouping also Sudan and Ethiopia on the Ethiopian renaissance dam to discuss initial reports by consultancy firms tasked with assessing the possible impact of the dam on downstream countries.
The three-way meeting started in Cairo between technicians and experts from Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia. It focuses on a draft of an introductory report on studies about the dam submitted by the French consultancy offices.. Remarks of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia regarding the introductory report will also be tackled. |
