The Egyptian Ministry of Housing inked a cooperation protocol with the United Nations to develop slums in Egypt.
The protocol was inked by Egypt’s Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) Joan Clos. In statements, Madbouly said the protocol comes as part of the country’s efforts to improve the living conditions of the slums’ population. Clos, for his part, said the UN-Habitat is very pleased to cooperate with the Egyptian housing ministry. |
