President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued his directives to continue efforts aimed at comprehensive development of the electricity sector.
This came in a meeting between the president and Acting Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, in the presence of Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker. The president also gave directives to develop transportation network in accordance with the deadline of completion, in order to enhance services provided to citizens, Spokesman for the Presidency Bassam Rady said. Shaker briefed Sisi on the ministry's strategy concerning the establishment of major power plants which are currently being implemented, as well as the future of renewable energy in Egypt, Rady added. |
