The Yemeni government has announced its first new budget for the year 2018 after a three-year hiatus following Houthi militias coup in September 2014.
Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid bin Dghr told a news conference in the interim capital of Aden today that the new budget amounts to nine hundred and seventy-eight billion, two hundred and fifty three million, and five hundred thousand riyals, expenditures estimated at one trillion, four hundred and sixty-five billion, forty-two million, six hundred and thirty-one thousand riyals, and a financial deficit by 33 %.
