Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, discussed with a number of heads of states, prime ministers, ministers of economy and dignitaries means of enhancing the economic and trade ties between the UAE and their respective countries.
The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 2018 edition of Annual Investment Meeting, AIM, organised by the Ministry of Economy, MoE, at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 9th to 11th. Al Mansouri discussed with the guests to further enhance cooperation in areas of trade, investment, transport, aviation, tourism, agriculture, food processing industries, food security, infrastructure, logistics and Islamic economy. The Minister stressed that the UAE is very determent to broaden its economic partnerships with countries worldwide with focus on priority sectors that serve the country's development objectives. The UAE has successfully managed to improve its position as regional and international financial, business and tourism hub, thanks to the country's strong and advanced infrastructures and flexible legislative frameworks, he said. The meetings were held with Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Dimitri Kumsishvili, Georgian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Dr. Ali bin Saood Al Sinidi, Oman's Minister of Trade and Industry, Yousif Yousif, Algerian Minister of Industry and Mining, Valdrin Lluka, Kosovo Minister of Economic Development, Igor Vidovc, Head of Serbia's Viodvonia County, Vishnu Lutchmeenaraidoo, Mauritian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Kim Young Touching, South Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, among other officials. |
