The UAE International Investors Council chose Egypt among the top five destinations for UAE investments in the coming period.
A delegation from the Ministry of Trade and Industry took part in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), a premier platform for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in growing markets held in Dubai on April 9-11, where it presented the investment opportunities available in Egypt, particularly in the industrial sector. The delegation included representatives from the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) and the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC), led by Chairman Ahmed Abdel Razek and Executive Director Ahmed Taha respectively. Abdel Razek said that one of the positive outcomes of the AIM was choosing Egypt among the top five destinations for UAE investments in the coming period, by the UAE International Investors Council (UAEIIC). “Egypt is currently enjoying a huge boom in investments, on the back of government efforts to create a business-friendly climate,” Secretary-General of the UAEIIC Jamal Al Jarwan said at the conference. |
