Relations between Egypt and Colombia are very distinguished at the political and commercial levels. The visions of the two countries are similar regarding the international and regional issues. I want to thank Egypt for the efforts that it has been exerting in the field of backing peace process and supporting Colombia in combating the terror groups. The volume of trade exchange between the two countries hit $16.6 million. There are now no Colombian investors in the Egyptian market but later there will be, especially that the Egyptian market is very attractive for making investments, and we are trying also to improve our products to meet the needs of the Egyptian market and appease the Egyptians. We are also encouraging the Colombian companies to invest in the filed of cement in Egypt. The number of tourists is on the increase after 2011 due to the stability that Egypt has witnessed. |
